Associate Oral Surgeon

Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Surgeon to join our medical team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge and experience in various surgical procedures, with a strong focus on patient care and safety. This role requires proficiency in both general and specialized surgical techniques, including pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, and endodontics. The Surgeon will be responsible for performing surgeries, managing patient assessments, and ensuring compliance with medical standards and regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Perform a variety of surgical procedures including dental extractions, root canal therapy, and prosthodontics.
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine the appropriate surgical interventions.
  • Maintain accurate medical documentation and medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Utilize aseptic techniques to ensure infection control during surgical procedures.
  • Collaborate with dental office staff to provide comprehensive patient care in a clinical setting.
  • Utilize dental software systems such as Epic, Eaglesoft, and Dentrix for patient management and record keeping.
  • Stay updated on advancements in surgical techniques and dental terminology to enhance patient outcomes.
  • Provide education to patients regarding their treatment plans and post-operative care instructions.

Requirements

  • Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
  • Valid state license to practice dentistry.
  • Experience in pediatric dentistry and oral surgery preferred.
  • Strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy knowledge, and infection control protocols.
  • Familiarity with four-handed dentistry practices and medical imaging techniques is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient care and assessment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $500,000.00 - $900,000.00 per year
