Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Associate Pediatric Dentist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional dental care to children and adolescents, ensuring a positive and comfortable experience for our young patients. This role requires proficiency in pediatric dentistry practices, excellent patient assessment skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive dental care to pediatric patients, including examinations, diagnoses, and treatment plans.
  • Perform various dental procedures such as dental extractions, root canal therapy, and prosthodontics.
  • Utilize four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures.
  • Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Conduct patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment options while ensuring optimal patient care.
  • Educate patients and their families on oral hygiene practices and preventive care strategies.
  • Implement infection control protocols and aseptic techniques during all procedures.
  • Collaborate with dental staff to ensure smooth operations within the clinic.
  • Stay current with advancements in pediatric dentistry and participate in ongoing professional development.

Experience

  • Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
  • Experience in pediatric dentistry is preferred; familiarity with general dentistry practices is beneficial.
  • Proficiency with dental software systems such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix is a plus.
  • Knowledge of dental terminology, medical terminology, anatomy, and medical imaging techniques is essential.
  • Previous experience in a dental office or clinic setting is highly desirable.

Job Types: Part-time, Contract, Temporary

Pay: $150,000.00 - $195,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
