Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Associate Pediatric Dentist to join our esteemed dental practice. Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive pediatric dental examinations, including patient assessment and diagnosis.
- Deliver a wide range of dental treatments such as general dentistry, root canal therapy, dental extractions, and prosthodontics tailored for children.
- Utilize advanced dental technology and imaging tools while adhering to infection control and aseptic techniques.
- Conduct oral surgeries and implement endodontic procedures with precision.
- Apply four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency and patient comfort.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations and ensure proper medical records management.
- Educate patients and their families on oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and treatment options.
- Collaborate with the dental team to develop individualized treatment plans that meet the unique needs of pediatric patients.
- Ensure adherence to all safety protocols, including infection control measures and dental terminology standards.
Skills
- Proficiency in pediatric dentistry with experience in oral surgery, endodontics, prosthodontics, and general dentistry procedures.
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology, medical terminology, anatomy, and medical imaging techniques.
- Familiarity with dental practice management software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix is preferred.
- Excellent patient care skills with the ability to assess patient needs effectively and communicate clearly with children and their families.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and best practices for maintaining confidentiality of medical records.
- Experience in infection control protocols and aseptic techniques within a dental setting.
- Ability to perform dental fabrication tasks when necessary and utilize dental office experience effectively.
- Strong organizational skills coupled with attention to detail in documentation and treatment planning.
