Job Overview

This mid-level role is ideal for an attorney with prior personal injury experience who can independently manage cases, negotiate settlements, and collaborate with senior litigators. You will handle a mix of pre-litigation and litigation matters, guide clients through the recovery process, and help deliver strong results for injured individuals. This position is perfect for someone who thrives in a high-volume practice and is eager to take on increasing responsibility.

Preferred Skill Set

  • J.D. and admission to any U.S. state bar (Massachusetts preferred)
  • 2–4 years of experience handling personal injury cases
  • Strong understanding of negligence, liability evaluation, damages, and Massachusetts PI procedures
  • Excellent legal writing, negotiation, and advocacy skills
  • Ability to manage a fast-paced caseload with accuracy and organization
  • Fluency in Portuguese or Spanish is highly preferred; fluency in both is an extreme plus
  • Experience drafting demands, complaints, motions, and discovery
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with the litigation team
  • High level of empathy and professionalism in client communication
  • Proficiency with case management software and digital tools

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage pre-litigation and litigation personal injury matters from start to resolution
  • Draft demands, complaints, motions, discovery, and legal correspondence
  • Conduct depositions, attend hearings, and represent clients in negotiations
  • Evaluate medical records, liability evidence, and damages
  • Communicate regularly with clients, adjusters, experts, and medical providers
  • Assist in developing litigation strategies and preparing cases for trial
  • Guide junior team members and support paralegal workflow
  • Maintain organized case files and ensure critical deadlines are met

Compensation and Benefits

  • Salary: $75,000–$80,000

  • Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (in-person)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
