Position Summary

We are seeking a highly creative, strategic, and organized Associate Product Designer to join our growing team. This role will support the Hardlines category across our collectible product portfolio, with a strong emphasis on pins, pin bags and accessories tied to both licensed properties and original in-house IP.

The ideal candidate brings a strong foundation in product design and development, with experience translating ideas into production-ready products. You should be trend-aware, collaborative, and comfortable working in a startup-paced environment where innovation and agility are key.

Key Responsibilities

• Conceptualize, sketch, and design collectible-forward product lines that align with GoPinPro’s brand voice and fan community.
• Collaborate with the product team to develop samples and 3D mockups, ensuring accuracy from design through production.
• Conduct market research and track industry trends to identify new design opportunities and product categories.
• Prepare design inputs, including concept sketches, color guides, material specs, and reference sheets.
• Build and present visual line decks and product boards for internal reviews and licensing partners.
• Assist in managing the art-to-manufacturing process, including coordination with vendors on prototyping and production.
• Ensure all designs meet internal quality standards and align with brand, manufacturing, and licensing guidelines.
• Partner cross-functionally with sourcing, licensing, marketing, and community teams to ensure timely and successful product launches.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in product design, industrial design, toy design, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of collectibles, hardlines manufacturing, and materials like enamel, resin, soft goods, and packaging.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop); knowledge of 3D modeling software is a plus.
• Exceptional sketching, visualization, and ideation skills with the ability to turn concepts into production-ready designs.
• Experience working with manufacturers, vendors, or overseas factories is highly desirable.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced, agile environment.
• Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design, Toy Design, Graphic Design, or related field, or equivalent industry experience.
