About Us
We are a Level III therapeutic residential program providing trauma‑informed care to youth who need structure, stability, and consistent support. We are seeking a dependable Associate Professional (AP) to help lead daily operations, support staff, and ensure treatment plans are implemented correctly.
What You’ll Do
- Oversee day‑to‑day operations of the home
- Support and guide paraprofessional staff
- Participate in treatment team and service planning meetings
- Assist with crisis intervention and de‑escalation
- Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with DHHS and MCO standards
- Communicate youth progress to the QP and clinical team
- Provide shift coverage as needed to support staffing and maintain safety
- Serve as lead staff during assigned shifts
Qualifications (Must Meet ONE of the Following)
- Master’s degree in a human services field (less than 1 year MH/DD/SA experience)
- Bachelor’s degree in a human services field (less than 2 years MH/DD/SA experience)
- Bachelor’s degree in any field (less than 4 years MH/DD/SA experience)
- Licensed RN in NC (less than 4 years MH/DD/SA experience)
All APs work under QP supervision until experience requirements are met.

- Valid NC driver’s license
- Ability to pass background checks and drug screening
- CPR/First Aid, NCI/CPI, and Medication Administration (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work in a trauma‑informed environment
Schedule
- Full‑time
- May include evenings, weekends, and coverage as needed to maintain staffing and safety
