Associate Project Manager - Technical

Consecutive Bytes is seeking an Associate Project Manager – Technical with a foundation in software development and a keen interest in project coordination. This role supports the planning, execution, and delivery of our engineering projects while ensuring alignment with client requirements and technical standards. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, technically aware, and eager to grow into a leadership role by bridging communication between clients, developers, and designers.

Responsibilities:

• Assist senior project managers in defining project objectives, scope, requirements, and deliverables.
• Help prepare project roadmaps with timelines, resource allocation, and risk tracking.
• Act as a supporting point of contact for clients and internal stakeholders, ensuring requirements are documented and communicated.
• Convert client feedback into clear, actionable tasks for the engineering and design teams.
• Assign and track tasks under supervision, ensuring deadlines are followed.
• Use project management tools (e.g., ClickUp, Trello, Asana) to monitor tasks, milestones, and deliverables.
• Support technical evaluations by gathering information on technology stacks, CMS solutions, and frameworks.
• Stay updated on emerging technical trends and share insights with the team.
• Flag potential risks or delays to senior managers early and propose possible solutions.
• Review deliverables for completeness, basic technical accuracy, and alignment with client expectations before escalation.
• Maintain organized project documentation, including task updates, reports, and client communications.
• Provide assistance in demos, client discussions, and presentations alongside the senior team.

Required Skills:

• Experience in project management, ideally within a software or IT services environment.
• Basic understanding of software development (programming, debugging, or QA exposure).
• Familiarity with UI/UX design principles and ability to review designs with a critical eye.
• Knowledge of Agile methodology and iterative delivery processes.
• Strong communication skills with clients and internal teams.
• Ability to stay organized and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Proactive mindset with a willingness to learn, grow, and support senior managers.
