Role Summary:

The Associate Property Damage Support is responsible for managing all aspects related to claims on behalf of our clients, focusing on customers’ cars, serving as a dedicated representative, and ensuring that our clients receive the necessary support and guidance through the claims process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Obtain Police Report: Request police reports online or in person as available and follow up with the availability of reports.
• File Claims: Communicate insurance and provide all information to the insurance regarding the accident.
• Documentation: archive all findings, observations, and decisions related to the claim investigation and assessment process.
• Assist Clients: Guide the clients with the repairs of their vehicle or the total loss, and provide clear explanations of coverage, claim decisions, and settlement options in a professional and empathetic manner.
• Communicate with Case Manager: Update the case manager handling the case of any progress regarding property damage.
• Obtain Photos: Request client property damage photos and file them accordingly.
• Liability Management: Maintain constant communication with insurance regarding liability.
• Spreadsheet update: Constantly update spreadsheets with incoming information and new clients.

Qualifications:

• Required bachelor’s degree in mechanics, or a related field
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate complex situations and make sound decisions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and coworkers.
• Detail-oriented approach with a focus on accuracy and thoroughness in claim documentation and reporting.
• Bilingual (English – Spanish).
• Team-oriented attitude.
• Time management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365.
