Associate QA Engineer

Job Description:

We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Associate Software Quality Assurance Engineer to join our QA team. The ideal candidate will assist in ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our software products through both manual and automated testing. The role involves working in a dynamic environment, leveraging AI tools for intelligent test analysis, and validating how applications function across intranet-based infrastructures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute and maintain manual and automated test cases to ensure product quality and stability.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing of software applications.
• Work with Linux systems to configure, deploy, and validate software builds.
• Utilize AI-driven testing tools and analytics to optimize test coverage and identify potential defects early.
• Validate software behavior and communication across intranet networks.
• Collaborate with development and product teams to understand requirements and ensure timely defect resolution.
• Document test results, log issues, and provide clear feedback for continuous improvement.
• Contribute to process improvements and the adoption of modern QA practices.
• Follow agile methodology for delivering the deliverables while attending scrum ceremonies.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related discipline.
• Basic to intermediate knowledge of Linux commands and environments.
• Understanding of software testing fundamentals (manual and automated).
• Awareness of AI usage in testing, such as test optimization, predictive defect analysis, or intelligent automation.
• Basic understanding of automation testing framework and tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright
• Familiarity with intranet or on-prem system testing is a plus.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Eager to learn new technologies and testing methodologies.
