SOUTHERN ILLINOIS TERRITORY - We are looking for a motivated and energetic Associate Sales Territory Manager to join our team and support our growth in the surgical device market. The Associate Sales Territory Manager will work closely with the Territory Manager and other sales representatives to develop and execute sales strategies, build strong customer relationships, and achieve sales targets within the assigned territory.

As an Associate Sales Territory Manager, you will:
- Assist the Territory Manager in acting as a primary point of contact for existing and potential customers within the assigned territory.
- Support in developing new business with customers and accounts previously not sold to.
- Help achieve or exceed defined territory sales revenue targets through strategic planning and relationship building.
- Aid in the preparation and execution of formal business plans, monthly and quarterly territory reports aimed at achieving sales goals.
- Provide support for case coverage and inventory requests, working closely with peers.
- Take the initiative to identify new business opportunities and product improvement ideas.
- Maintain a high level of technical product and disease state knowledge.
- Provide consultative support in the operating room in accordance with specific product indications.
- Operate within defined budgets and adhere strictly to corporate policies and procedures.
- Perform sales administrative duties in a timely manner as defined by management.
- Collaborate with sales representatives from different territories to share best practices and support a cohesive sales approach.
To be successful as an Associate Sales Territory Manager, you will need:
- Bachelor’s Degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience; a business or science-related degree is preferred.
- Minimum of two years of experience in business-to-business sales or a similar role.
- Experience in surgical device or other medical sales is preferred.
- Excellent analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Confidence to communicate with established physicians and other surgical personnel.
- Strong negotiation and selling skills.
- Ability to navigate the interpersonal and political landscape within hospital settings.
- Proven track record of developing and executing sales plans.
- Physically capable of standing for long hours in the operating room and lifting/carrying up to 50 lbs.
- Highly competitive with a strong track record of success.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license.
Pay: From $65,000.00 per year
