Position Summary:

The Associate Site Manager is responsible for managing day-to-day HealthPoint health center operations by providing support to their teams to deliver exceptional patient experiences and achieve department and organizational goals while creating an environment that retains and develops employees. The ASM Supports the Site Manager in engaging teams in continuously improving the current operational practices.

Compensation is dependent on skills and experience.

Your contribution to the team includes:

  • Responsible for providing exceptional full cycle employee experience including recruiting, hiring, onboarding, performance management, talent development, employee relations, recognition, and training of staff by providing effective leadership.
  • Assists in establishing priorities and guidelines for maintaining efficient and expedient workflow for the health center with the Site Manager. Keeps the Site Manager advised of potential problem areas and recommends/implements solutions, as appropriate.
  • Partners with site leadership in establishing and maintaining daily staffing levels to ensure appropriate coverage for clinic needs.
  • Accountable for overseeing quality management of day-to-day operations of the department by performing daily, weekly, and monthly reporting of key performance indicators and audits of core processes to ensure adherence and provide regular feedback to staff.
  • Partners with Site Manager to create and maintain NextGen templates and schedule modifications to maximize patient access.
  • Access data operational data and use it to inform operational decisions made in collaboration with the Site Manager, Business Director, and other stakeholders.

ESSENTIAL ORGANIZATIONAL LEADERSHIP DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Serve as a role model for excellent internal and external customer services. Coaches staff to ensure a reliably exceptional patient experience for all.
  • Attend and participate in organizational committees and task force activities as required. Assume responsibility for successful execution of projects or change efforts that are limited in scope and complexity.
  • Maintain good attendance, be punctual, and work a full scheduled shift as a condition of employment.
  • Demonstrate respectful, professional, appropriate behavior and leadership that supports a team- oriented environment.

Must have's you'll need to be successful:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required, Bachelor's degree (BA or BS) from a four-year College or university preferred. Minimum three (3) years healthcare experience and two (2) years supervisory experience required or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Participation in HealthPoint University programs or other leadership development strongly preferred.
  • The ability to communicate with a diverse patient population is an essential skill. Ability to read and interpret technical and other complex documents. Ability to write routine correspondence such as letters and memos. Ability to present information in one-on-one and group situations to internal and/or external clients. Ability to work with patients and interpreters to communicate information.
  • Intermediate operating knowledge of computers including Excel, Word, and Outlook required as well as other related scheduling software. Data Entry and Epic capabilities are preferred.

Proof of vaccination for COVID-19 is required, prior to start. HealthPoint does not accept the Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccine as proof of vaccination. If you have received the Johnson & Johnson vaccine, we ask that you provide documentation demonstrating proof of an alternate COVID vaccine or vaccine series. All new employees are also required to show proof of immunizations and/or immunity to MMR (measles, mumps, rubella), Varicella, annual Influenza and TB QuantiFERON Gold Titer. Additionally, if you work in a HealthPoint clinic, Tdap (within last 10 years) is required. Hepatitis B. is required for clinical employees with potential exposure to blood/blood products. All immunizations are a condition of employment. Upon hire, employees must provide proof of their immunizations and/or immune titer results prior to starting or no later than their fifth (5) business day of employment.

  • If you are providing immunizations from an electronic health record, please ensure that you obtain a copy of your full records rather than a screenshot. Each page of your records should include your first and last name, date of birth, and the name of the health system from which the records are pulled.
  • If records do not show any data, please seek guidance from your provider for further assistance.
  • If you are unable to provide proof as noted above, you can choose to have a lab titer drawn to check immunity or to be re-vaccinated. If you receive vaccination(s) or lab titers, you may obtain them through HealthPoint at no cost to you. This is a great opportunity to get your immunization record up to date at no additional expense.
