Associate Software Engineer (AI Engineer)

Location: Dallas, TX

  • Remote

Job Summary: Supports the development, deployment, and operation of AI/ML-powered systems in a cloud-native environment, focusing on operationalizing modern AI systems through software engineering, automation, observability, and lifecycle management.

  • Modifies software to address issues.
  • Develops small enhancements.
  • Participates in testing and validation.
  • Contributes to AI platform reliability.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 0–3 years of professional experience.
  • Proficiency in Python.
  • Familiarity with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
  • Strong working knowledge of SQL.
  • Experience with LLM prompt engineering.
  • Understanding of CI/CD and infrastructure automation concepts.
  • Experience with version control and collaborative development practices.

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Experience working with MCP servers.
  • Experience building Agent-to-Agent workflows.
  • Exposure to deploying or operating LLMs.
  • Familiarity with ML Ops practices.
  • Experience with Kafka or event-driven architectures.
  • Knowledge of observability and reliability best practices.

Compensation

Dallas, TX (United States - Dallas Infomart Office DAI): $80,000 - $120,000 USD / Annual
