Associate Software Engineer (Backend)

We are looking for a passionate and self-motivated Associate Software Engineer (Backend Developer) to join our growing development team. In this role, you'll work closely with senior engineers to build, maintain, and optimize scalable backend services. Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain backend services and APIs.
• Collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, and QA engineers to deliver high-quality features.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code under the guidance of senior developers.
• Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and daily stand-ups.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues as they arise in development or production environments.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in software engineering.
• Continuously learn and adapt to new tools, languages, and methodologies.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• Proficiency in at least one backend programming language (e.g. Node.js, etc.).
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and web services.
• Understanding of databases (SQL and/or NoSQL).
• Basic knowledge of version control tools (e.g., Git).
• Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for building reliable software.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)

• 1 year of experience related to backend development.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Experience with Docker or containerized environments.
• Exposure to CI/CD practices.
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
