Associate Software Engineer (Django + React.js)

We are seeking an Associate Software Engineer (Django + React.js) with 4 to 6 months of hands-on experience in Django backend development and React.js frontend development to join our team at our Gulberg 3 office in Lahore.

Responsibilities

Clean Coding & Implementation

• Write clean, well-commented, and maintainable code in Python (Django) and JavaScript (React.js) according to project specifications.
• Implement features and fixes based on clearly defined requirements.

Troubleshooting & Debugging

• Assist in debugging, troubleshooting, and resolving basic software defects.
• Participate in identifying root causes and implementing corrective solutions.

Code Review & Collaboration

• Participate actively in code reviews and apply feedback from senior engineers.
• Collaborate with team members to understand system requirements and design principles.

Documentation

• Document code, APIs, and basic processes as instructed.
• Maintain clear and structured technical notes for internal use.

Backend Development (Django Specific)

• Develop basic REST API endpoints using Django and Django REST Framework.
• Perform CRUD operations and implement simple business logic.
• Work with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.

Frontend Development (React.js Specific)

• Implement UI components using React.js based on shared design guidelines.
• Integrate frontend components with backend APIs for data retrieval and display.
• Ensure responsive layouts and smooth user interactions.

Full-Stack Integration

• Handle smaller, well-defined tasks across both backend and frontend.
• Work on end-to-end feature integration between Django APIs and React interfaces.

Continuous Learning

• Actively learn new programming concepts, frameworks, tools, and best practices in modern software engineering.
• Stay updated with improvements related to Django, React.js, and full-stack development workflows.

Requirements

• 4 to 6 months of hands-on experience in Django and React.js development.
• Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and REST API concepts.
• Basic understanding of databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and ORM concepts.
• Familiarity with Git for version control and collaborative workflows.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage tasks efficiently and meet deadlines.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).

Working Conditions

• Location: Gulberg 3, Lahore
• Office Hours:

• Monday to Thursday: 02:00 PM – 11:00 PM

• Friday: 12:00 PM – 09:00 PM

• Alternate Saturdays: 10:00 AM – 05:00 PM

• Office Days: Monday to Friday + Alternate Saturdays
• Salary: PKR 40,000 – 50,000 (based on real client project involvement, hands-on skills, and performance)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs40,000.00 - Rs50,000.00 per month
