Associate Software Engineer (IBM BPM)

Our ideal candidates are familiar with the software development life cycle (SDLC) from preliminary system analysis to testing, deployment and production support. Responsibilities:

• • Execute assigned development tasks to support the implementation of cloud-native automation solutions using IBM Cloud Pak for Automation.
  • Apply standard practices in working with containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes) to support deployment and workload management.
  • Contribute to integrating with IBM Cloud Pak services, including Business Automation, Decision Management, and Content Services.
  • Develop and consume basic REST APIs and microservices under guidance to enable integration within automation platforms.
  • Support implementation of workflow automation and decision logic using IBM Operational Decision Manager (ODM) and Business Automation Insights.
  • Learn and apply Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and AI-driven automation techniques within the Cloud Pak environment.
  • Participate in agile ceremonies, code reviews, and team knowledge-sharing sessions.

Requirements

• • BA/BS in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • 0–2 years of experience in software development (internships, projects, or coursework acceptable).
  • Basic understanding of cloud computing, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), or automation technologies.
  • Familiarity with at least one programming language (Java, Python, or JavaScript preferred).
  • Willingness to learn IBM Cloud Pak for Automation and related enterprise automation platforms.
