Associate Software Quality Assurance Engineer

Sumato Solutions is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Software Quality Assurance Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in software testing methodologies, be passionate about quality assurance, and possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities:

• Test Planning: Develop and execute comprehensive test plans to ensure the quality of software applications.
• Testing Execution: Perform functional, regression, performance, and acceptance testing to identify and report software defects.
• Automation Testing: Design and implement automated testing scripts to streamline testing processes and improve efficiency.
• Bug Tracking: Document and track issues, collaborate with development teams to ensure timely resolution, and verify bug fixes.
• Requirements Analysis: Work closely with developers and product managers to understand software requirements and provide feedback on design and functionality.
• Test Documentation: Create and maintain detailed test documentation, including test cases, test scripts, and test reports.
• Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the ongoing improvement of our QA processes and methodologies.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Software Quality Assurance Engineer or similar role.
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Experience in automated testing tools and frameworks.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Detail-oriented and committed to delivering high-quality software.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
• Knowledge of performance testing tools and techniques.
• ISTQB or other relevant certifications.
• Proficiency in C# programming language.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From Rs50,000.00 per month
