Associate Therapist

Overview:
Established practice seeking associates to join in providing psychotherapy services. Candidates must have an associate level license in the state of Georgia (LMSW, LAPC) or be eligible for licensure. The ideal candidate will have an interest in psychodynamic approaches and working knowledge of SOAP or BIRP notes, strong ethics, and be passionate about mental wellness. Individual and group supervision provided toward full licensure by an LCSW. Work on site initially with potential to work remotely 20% . Pay is by billable hour. Office space, electronic records software, scheduling and billing are all provided.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct intake assessments to determine mental health needs
- Provide therapy sessions applying techniques from provided supervision including CBT, SFBT, REBT, and IFS
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical documentation using SOAP notes
- Assist in case management, safety planning, and coordination of care for patients

Experience:
- Master's degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or related field with Georgia license to practice on the associate level or pending licensure post graduation
- Proficiency in conducting patient assessments and applying treatment plans
- Knowledge of diagnoses according to DSM-V or ICD10
- Strong skills in therapeutic processes (active listening, treatment planning)
- Interest in therapeutic modalities that are psychodynamic or experiential is a plus

Must be willing to commute to Grayson/Loganville 3 days a week.
