Associate Therapist-Associate Marriage & Family, Associate Clinical Counselor, ASW

  • Associate Marriage and Family Therapist
  • Associate Professional Clinical Counselor
  • Associate Clinical Social Worker

We are looking to fill this role with a candidate who is willing to work with children, teens, adults, couples, and families. The ideal candidate will love to learn and grow in their role as a therapist/counselor.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct clinical counseling sessions with children, individuals, or couples
  • If interested, conducting neurofeedback sessions on given clients. (We would offer training on the job)
  • Perform client assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans
  • Utilize medical knowledge and treatment of mental health disorders in client interactions
  • Collaborate with other therapists in the office to conduct the best treatment plan
  • Provide crisis intervention and support to clients in need
  • Conduct diagnostic evaluations to assess mental health conditions
  • Administer psychotherapy treatments to help clients manage their symptoms
  • Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain confidentiality of client information

Requirements:

  • Obtain a registration number with the Board of Behavioral Science
  • Proficient in clinical counseling techniques and interventions
  • Familiarity with medical terminology and mental health diagnoses
  • Strong assessment skills to develop effective treatment plans
  • Knowledge of crisis intervention strategies and techniques
  • Ability to conduct diagnostic evaluations and provide accurate diagnoses
  • Proficient in various forms of psychotherapy

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50 to $60 per client hour

Expected hours: 25 – 40 per week
