Key Responsibilities:

• Develop custom WordPress plugins from scratch
• Build scalable backend architecture using clean PHP/OOP principles
• Work extensively with WordPress hooks, actions, and filters
• Create and manage custom REST API endpoints
• Handle AJAX requests and dynamic backend functionality
• Optimize database queries and WordPress performance
• Integrate third-party APIs and external services
• Debug, test, and maintain plugin/backend functionality
• Ensure security best practices across backend development

Requirements:

• Strong command of PHP and WordPress backend development
• Proven experience in custom plugin development
• Deep understanding of WordPress hooks and core architecture
• Knowledge of WP_Query, get_posts(), and custom queries
• Strong understanding of WordPress database structure
• Experience with AJAX, REST API, and API integrations
• Hands-on experience with $wpdb and database optimization
• Knowledge of WordPress security standards & best practices
• Understanding of plugin architecture using OOP/structured coding
• Familiarity with caching/transients/performance optimization
