Emergency Short-Call Substitute Teaching License
- The emergency short-call substitute license is a joint application between an applicant and a public school district or charter school, wherein the substitute may serve in their assignment for no more than 10 consecutive school days. To serve as an emergency short-call substitute, the candidate must:
- Hold an associate's degree or equivalent and has or will receive substitute training from the hiring school district or charter school.
- The emergency short-call substitute license is valid for three years and can be renewed by paper application.
