We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Assistant Accountant to join our team.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist in daily accounting and bookkeeping activities
- Prepare invoices, purchase orders, delivery orders and payment vouchers
- Maintain financial records and filing systems
- Follow up on customer payments and supplier accounts
- Assist in bank reconciliations and expense tracking
- Coordinate with deliveries and logistics for invoice verification
- Support preparation of reports for management
- Handle data entry in accounting software and MS Excel
- Assist with documentation related to audits and VAT requirements
- Handle petty cash management and maintain proper records of expenses
- Monitor petty cash transactions and prepare reimbursement reports
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in accounting/admin work
- Knowledge of accounting software and MS Office
- Good communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail with speed and accuracy in work
- Accurate data entry and good organizational skills
- Strong problem-solving and time management skills under pressure
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of inventory and payment follow-up procedures
- Candidates with ODOO experience is mostly preferred
- Good communication skills - verbal as well as written.
