About the Team
As part of the Production Engineering Department (PED) at ZF CVCS India Limited, our process planning team plays a crucial role in enabling world-class manufacturing by designing, developing, and continuously improving processes to meet customer expectations in quality, delivery, and cost.
What you can look forward to as Asst / Deputy Manager - Manufacturing Engineering (Machining) (m/f/d):

Map manufacturing capacity against demand and ensure adequate capacity to meet customer requirements.

Plan and prove processes, facilities, and tooling for new products and product variants.

Ensure completion of process development activities as per timing plans, eliminating process-related failure modes.

Drive productivity, cost, quality, delivery, and safety improvements through Kaizen, waste elimination, and lean manufacturing practices.

Work closely with Operations, Quality, and Project teams to resolve ramp-up issues, train operators and leaders, and monitor project delivery.

Lead and mentor a group of process planning engineers, identify training needs, and enhance competencies.
Your Profile as Asst / Deputy Manager - Manufacturing Engineering (Machining) (m/f/d):

Bachelor’s/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with 8+ years of experience in automotive component manufacturing or OEM.

Skilled in time/motion study, layout planning, industrial engineering functions, process planning, proving, and advanced manufacturing systems.

Proven track record in continuous improvement initiatives (Kaizen, SMED, Poka Yoke, JIT, Kanban, Lean, etc.).

Proficient in AutoCAD, CNC/PLC programming, MS Windows, with awareness of TQM and TPM principles.

Strong communication and people management skills, with the ability to build, mentor, and develop high-performing teams.

High proficiency in English (verbal and written); knowledge of a foreign language is an added advantage.
