About The Role

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Assembly & Program Manager with a strong background in Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS). The ideal candidate will lead cross-functional programs, oversee assembly operations, and drive end-to-end NPI (New Product Introduction) initiatives. This role requires strong leadership, technical understanding, and the ability to manage customer expectations while ensuring efficiency, quality, and timely project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Project & Program Management:

• Lead end-to-end program execution, from planning through delivery.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams: engineering, procurement, quality, production, and supply chain.
• Manage customer communication, project timelines, risks, deliverables, and milestones.
• Ensure alignment with business goals and customer expectations.
  
  

New Product Introduction (NPI)

• Lead NPI activities including prototype builds, process validations, and ramp-up readiness.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to define manufacturing requirements and ensure DFM (Design for Manufacturability).
• Drive smooth transition from development to mass production with controlled processes and documentation.
  
  

Assembly & Line Management

• Oversee daily assembly line operations to ensure efficiency, quality, and throughput.
• Optimize workforce, equipment utilization, and performance metrics.
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives to reduce downtime, defects, and cycle time.
• Ensure compliance with manufacturing standards, safety protocols, and process discipline.
  
  

Inventory & Materials Management

• Monitor inventory levels and ensure material availability to meet production plans.
• Work closely with supply chain teams to address material shortages or delays.
• Implement proactive strategies to prevent excess, aging, and obsolete inventory.
• Support cost control efforts and material flow improvements.
  
  

Qualifications & Experience

• 10+ years of experience in EMS or electronics manufacturing.
• Proven expertise in project and program management.
• Strong background in assembly operations and production line management.
• Solid understanding of inventory/materials management principles.
• Extensive experience handling NPI activities from prototype to mass production.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
• Ability to work in a dynamic environment and manage multiple programs simultaneously.
