Job Title: Assistant Manager – Business Finance
Experience Required: 3–6 years
Job Responsibilities:
- Monitor and manage Accounts Receivable (AR) and aging reports.
- Ensure timely invoicing, collections, and customer follow-ups.
- Perform customer account reconciliations and resolve disputes.
- Maintain end-to-end control of books of accounts in line with accounting standards.
- Conduct periodic reviews and clean-up of ledgers, advances, and balances.
- Prepare and analyse brand-wise Profit & Loss (P&L) statements.
- Identify cost drivers and areas for profitability improvement.
- Implement maker-checker control for accurate billing.
- Ensure billing aligns with contractual terms and timelines.
- Work on provisions and accruals for revenue and expenses.
- Support timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings.
- Prepare detailed MIS reports and brand performance decks.
- Provide financial insights and analysis for new projects and initiatives.
- Assist with statutory and internal audits.
- Prepare and file quarterly TDS (Tax Deducted at Source) returns.
- Conduct physical stock counts and support stock audits.
- Oversee Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable processes.
- Monitor and manage working capital to optimize cash flow.
- Maintain and manage personal books of accounts for company directors.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- CA Inter, CMA, or MBA (Finance) preferred.
- 3–6 years of relevant experience in business finance or accounting.
- Strong knowledge of accounting standards and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems (Tally, SAP, etc.).
- Excellent analytical, communication, and coordination skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
