Job Description
1. Strategic Responsibilities - Implementation of Digital Strategy
  • Understand and own the digital roadmap for Domestic WET SBG Projects.
  • Align digital initiatives with:
    • Project delivery objectives (time, cost, quality, safety)
    • ESG and compliance goals
    • Client expectations
  • Prioritize digital investments based on business value, not just technology trends.

2. Digital Tools Ownership & Deployment
2.1 Tool Ecosystem Management
Own and manage multiple digital tools such as:
  • Project controls & Construction management
  • BIM / Digital Twin platforms
  • Asset data systems
  • IoT / SCADA integrations
  • Field mobility apps (QA/QC, Safety, Progress)
  • Document management systems if any
2.2 Deployment & Scaling
  • Lead rollout of digital tools across multiple projects
  • Integrate various tools through common platforms.
  • Develop lessons learnt, measure value addition and create quick roll out plan for new projects

3. Data Management & Analytics
  • Enable and deliver management dashboards for efficient monitoring & control of projects enabling interventions at appropriate times
  • Enable predictive analytics for various project parameter including by not limited to
    • Schedule slippage risks
    • Cost escalation trends
    • Claims and variation risks
  • Translate data into actionable insights

4. Project Delivery Support
4.1 Digital Drive of Construction
  • Work closely with project sites to
    • Digitize progress measurement
    • Improve field data capture
    • Reduce manual reporting
  • Enable uniform workflows for various project management processes
4.2 Issue Resolution
  • Act as the single point of escalation for:
    • Tool adoption issues
    • Data inconsistencies
    • Integration failures
  • Rapidly resolve problems impacting project delivery.

5. Stakeholder Management
  • Partner with:
    • Project teams
    • Operations & SCM teams
    • Engineering & Design
    • Internal ISD
    • Finance & Commercial
  • Bridge the gap between business needs and technology teams.

6. Change Management & Capability Building
  • Drive adoption among:
    • Site engineers
    • Cluster / Segment / BU Teams
  • Develop training programs, SOPs, and user manuals.
  • Build digital champions within each project.

7. Innovation & Continuous Improvement
  • Identify emerging technologies relevant to water and construction:
    • AI-based progress tracking
    • Drone and satellite monitoring
    • Advanced digital twins
    • Smart water network analytics
  • Run pilots and PoCs with clear success criteria.
  • Continuously improve digital maturity across projects.
