Asst. Manager - dispatch, stores in-charge and GST

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced professional to manage GST-related activities, dispatch operations and logistics coordination, for our manufacturing plant. The role will ensure timely dispatch of finished goods, efficient logistics operations, statutory compliance, and coordination with transporters, CHA, and internal teams.

Candidate must be from manufacturing plant background

Qualification

  • Graduate in Commerce / Logistics / Supply Chain or equivalent
  • Certification or diploma in GST / EXIM / Logistics will be an added advantage

Experience

  • 4–8 years of experience in dispatch, logistics, and commercial operations within a manufacturing environment
  • Prior experience in paper / containers / packaging industry preferred

Key Responsibilities

Dispatch & Logistics Operations

  • Plan and execute dispatch of finished goods as per delivery schedules
  • Coordinate with transporters, freight forwarders, and logistics service providers
  • Prepare dispatch-related documents including Delivery Challan, E-way Bill, LR, Invoice, and Packing List
  • Monitor vehicle movement and ensure timely delivery to customers

GST & Statutory Compliance

  • Return preparation with Compliance: GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, RCM, GSTR-9, GSTR-9C, and ITC reconciliation with 2B
  • Audit & Litigation management: GST Audit documentation, Departmental notice management.
  • GSTN / E-way Bill Portal awareness: Complete familiarity with GSTN / E-Way Bill Portal for all submissions & communication govt. authorities.
  • General Compliance: Ensure compliance with GST, e-way bill rules, and related statutory requirements
  • Export: Working knowledge of Export under LUT / Non-LUT

EXIM & CHA Coordination (Limited)

  • Coordinate with Customs House Agents (CHA) for EXIM-related activities as applicable
  • Maintain records and documentation for audits and compliance

Documentation, Reporting & Audits

  • Maintain accurate dispatch, logistics, and GST records
  • Prepare MIS reports related to dispatch performance and statutory compliance
  • Support internal and statutory audits

Systems & Process Control

  • Maintain data in Tally ERP and related systems
  • Ensure adherence to SOPs, safety norms, and process improvements

Skills Required

  • Strong knowledge of dispatch operations and logistics procedures
  • Working knowledge of GST compliance and e-way bill process
  • Exposure to EXIM and CHA coordination
  • Hands-on experience with Tally ERP and MS Office
  • Good coordination, follow-up, and documentation skills
