Job Title: Assistant Manager – Human Resources

Location: Canary Islands Resort & Spa
Department: Human Resources
Reports To: HR Manager / General Manager

Job Summary

The Assistant Manager – Human Resources supports the HR Manager in overseeing all HR functions at the resort, ensuring smooth workforce operations aligned with hospitality standards. This role plays a key part in recruitment, employee engagement, compliance, training, and maintaining a positive workplace culture within a luxury resort environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in recruitment, onboarding, and workforce planning for resort operations.
  • Support employee relations, performance management, and disciplinary processes.
  • Ensure compliance with local labor laws and hospitality regulations.
  • Coordinate training and development programs to enhance service standards.
  • Maintain HR records, payroll coordination, and employee documentation.
  • Promote employee engagement initiatives and wellness programs.
  • Support succession planning and talent development strategies.
  • Assist management in policy implementation and HR best practices.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 3–5 years of HR experience, preferably in hospitality or resort operations.
  • Knowledge of Spanish labor laws (preferred).
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and MS Office.
  • Fluency in English; Spanish is an advantage.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
