- Assist in sourcing and procurement of materials and services.
- Negotiate contracts with suppliers to secure favorable terms.
- Maintain accurate records of purchasing activities and inventory levels.
- Manage vendor relationships and handle vendor performance issues.
- Collaborate with other departments to understand and fulfill their purchasing needs.
- Ensure timely delivery of goods and services to meet operational requirements.
- Analyze market trends and pricing to identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Support the Purchasing Manager in developing and implementing procurement policies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or a related field.
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
