Duties
- Manage and oversee all reservation activities, ensuring accuracy and efficiency across multi-line phone systems and online booking platforms.
- Lead the reservations team by providing training, guidance, and support to deliver outstanding guest services.
- Coordinate with front desk, housekeeping, and other departments to optimize room availability and guest accommodations.
- Handle complex guest inquiries, special requests, and booking modifications with professionalism and enthusiasm.
- Maintain detailed records of reservations, cancellations, and guest preferences to enhance personalized service.
- Monitor reservation trends to forecast demand and assist in revenue management strategies.
- Uphold excellent phone etiquette and communication standards to ensure every guest interaction is positive and welcoming.
- Support night audit procedures related to reservations and guest accounts to ensure accuracy at all times.
- Foster strong guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and ensuring a memorable stay for all visitors.
- Collaborate with marketing teams on promotional offers or packages that boost bookings during peak seasons or special events.
Experience
- Proven experience in hospitality management with a focus on reservations or front desk operations within a hotel or resort environment.
- Demonstrated ability to lead a team effectively while maintaining high standards of customer service.
- Multilingual skills are highly desirable to serve our diverse clientele better; bilingual proficiency is preferred.
- Extensive knowledge of hotel management systems, multi-line phone systems, and reservation software.
- Strong understanding of guest services principles, hospitality best practices, and hotel operations.
- Experience handling night audit procedures related to reservations is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills with an emphasis on phone etiquette and professional demeanor in guest interactions.
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, or holidays as required by the resort’s operational needs.
