The Grounds department strives to effectively implement the University president’s vision for a world class campus that attracts, inspires, and bonds people to CNU. Additionally, Grounds provides Christopher Newport University’s students with an outstanding intercollegiate Division III Athletics facility that emphasizes safety, provides aesthetic appearance and value, and is environmentally responsible and economically feasible.

This position will be responsible for maintaining athletic and campus turf/landscape areas while striving for a safe workplace with required training for equipment operation. It will coordinate with supervisors each daily task. This position will also ensure that assigned equipment is safely and efficiently used and maintained.
