Atlanta - Independent Contractor - Medical Courier

Job Summary:
Lab Logistics is an established international transportation company focused in the medical field. We're seeking dedicated independent contractor drivers for work in Atlanta and surrounding areas. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting medical items in a timely manner while ensuring the highest level of customer service. This role requires a keen attention to detail and the ability to navigate efficiently through routes.

Responsibilities:

• Safely drive and operate vehicle to transport goods between locations.
• Ensure safe handling of items.
• Follow designated routes and schedules while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding delivery status or any issues that may arise.
• Perform basic vehicle maintenance checks to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.

Requirements / Experience:

• At least 21 years of age or older
• Previous courier experience is preferred, but not required.
• Use of own car
• Familiarity with driving regulations and safety practices is essential.
• Ability to obtain EIN (if you do not already have one)
• Ability to navigate using GPS systems or maps effectively.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time efficiently while on the road.
• Maintain professional appearance and workspace.
• Must be able to pass background check.
