Atlassian Developer

We are looking for a skilled Atlassian Developer with strong expertise in IT Asset Management (ITAM) and Configuration Management Database (CMDB) within the Atlassian ecosystem. The role primarily involves designing, configuring, and maintaining the Assets feature in Jira Service Management to support enterprise asset lifecycle management and automation.

Required Technical skills

• Strong knowledge of Atlassian ecosystem including: ITAM & CMBD concepts, Jira Service Management (JSM), Assets feature, schemas, and object types, Custom fields & permissions, Assets Data Manager, AQL / JQL (Asset Query Language & Jira Query Language)
• Experience with data integrations (APIs, flat files, databases)
• Platform configuration and administration

Must-Have Competencies

• Technical: End-to-end knowledge of Atlassian tools and Assets module
• Behavioral: Strong communication skills (written & verbal), Problem-solving mindset, Self-disciplined and collaborative approach, Ability to think out-of-the-box
• Good to have: Atlassian certificate

Roles & Responsibilities

• Responsible for the entire IT Asset Management (ITAM) and Configuration Management (CMDB) lifecycle within the Atlassian platform, primarily using the "Assets" feature in Jira Service Management (JSM)
• Platform Configuration & Administration: Design, configure, and maintain the Assets feature within Jira Service Management, including schemas, object types, custom fields, and permissions.
• Data Management & Integrations: Utilize tools like Assets Data Manager to integrate, reconcile, and analyze data from various sources (e.g., flat files, databases, APIs) to ensure a single, accurate source of truth (CMDB).
• Automation: Implement automation rules using Jira and Assets Query Language (AQL/JQL) to automate input, update records, and trigger actions based on asset status or events.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹4,000,000.00 - ₹5,500,000.00 per year
