ATM Installation Technician (Rigger)

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and safety-focused ATM Installation Technician (Rigger) to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the delivery, rigging, installation, and removal of ATM machines and related equipment at customer sites. This position requires physical strength, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Transport, load, unload, and install ATMs at various locations (banks, retail sites, etc.)
• Perform rigging operations using dollies, lifts, hoists, and other specialized equipment
• Safely maneuver heavy equipment in tight or high-traffic areas
• Anchor, level, and secure ATMs according to specifications
• Remove and relocate existing machines when needed
• Conduct basic site preparation and minor carpentry or drilling as required
• Follow all safety procedures and OSHA guidelines
• Communicate effectively with team members, dispatch, and customers
• Complete job documentation and reports accurately

Qualifications

• Previous experience in rigging, moving, installation, or similar field preferred
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Ability to lift and maneuver heavy equipment (often 800–1200 lbs with equipment assistance)
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record (CDL is a plus)
• Experience using hand tools, power tools, and rigging equipment
• Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, nights, or weekends as needed
• Strong attention to safety and detail
• Team player with good communication skills

Preferred Skills

• Experience with ATM installation or servicing
• CDL or experience driving box trucks
• Knowledge of basic electrical or network connections
• Forklift or rigging certification (a plus)

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift, push, and pull heavy equipment with assistance tools
• Frequent bending, kneeling, and standing for extended periods
• Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying conditions
