Position Overview
We are hiring a licensed California attorney who is ready to hit the ground running. This is a hands-on role where you will work directly with and under Attorney Daniel Benji to make sure cases never stall and deadlines are always met.

The most important part of this job is being highly organized and reliable — the person who ensures that every case keeps moving forward. You’ll act as Mr. Benji’s right hand attorney, keeping the docket on track, making sure assignments are completed on time, and stepping in for hearings, depositions, or mediations when needed.

The ideal candidate is:

• Licensed in California (required).
• Deadline-driven and detail-oriented — nothing slips through the cracks on your watch.
• Friendly, humble, and team-oriented, able to work closely with lead counsel and clients.
• Comfortable in a support role, but with a Type A personality that demands top-quality work product.
• Eager to learn litigation directly from a seasoned trial lawyer while contributing immediately.

Key Responsibilities

• Track and manage case deadlines to ensure consistent progress.
• Draft pleadings, discovery, motions, and litigation correspondence.
• Cover hearings, depositions, and mediations as assigned.
• Work closely with lead counsel to implement case strategy and prepare cases for trial.
• Maintain communication with clients, experts, and opposing counsel., and rest of team

Qualifications

• Active California law license
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple cases at once.
• Excellent legal writing and research abilities.
• Friendly, humble, and collaborative personality.
• Type A personality: detail-obsessed and unwilling to accept second-rate work.
• some law firm experience doesnt hurt

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract

Pay: $75,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
