Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and versatile Attorney with at least ten (10) years of experience in both litigation and transactional matters. The ideal candidate will be able to manage all phases of litigation while also providing comprehensive legal support for transactional matters. This position requires excellent analytical skills, strong written and oral advocacy, and the ability to deliver practical legal solutions in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Represent clients in civil and commercial litigation, including case assessment, strategy development, discovery, motion practice, settlement negotiations, trial preparation, and courtroom appearances.
Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of agreements, including commercial contracts, real estate documents, corporate governance documents, and other transactional matters.
Provide legal advice to clients on risk management, regulatory compliance, and business operations.
Conduct legal research and prepare clear, concise memoranda and correspondence.
Manage caseload independently while collaborating with colleagues and support staff as needed.
Maintain strong client relationships through responsive communication and practical problem-solving.
Stay current with relevant laws, regulations, and industry trends impacting client matters.
Qualifications:
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
Admission to practice law in Oklahoma.
At least 10 years of experience in both litigation and transactional practice.
Strong advocacy skills, with proven success in motion practice, negotiations, and/or trial work.
Demonstrated experience drafting and negotiating contracts and handling business transactions.
Excellent research, writing, and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines.
Strong interpersonal skills and commitment to client service.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with real estate, corporate, or employment law transactions.
Prior experience in a law firm or in-house settings.
Hearing, trial, mediation, arbitration, and alternative dispute resolution experience.
