Attorney

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Attorney with a strong background in foreclosure law to join our legal team in Newark, DE. The ideal candidate will possess a Juris Doctor (JD) degree, an active state Bar license (DE or eligible for reciprocity), and proven experience handling foreclosure matters, including litigation, loss mitigation, and property disposition.

Key Responsibilities:

• Represent lenders, servicers, and financial institutions in foreclosure proceedings.
• Draft, review, and file pleadings, motions, and other legal documents related to foreclosure and real estate litigation.
• Attend and represent clients at foreclosure hearings, mediations, and trials in state courts.
• Provide legal analysis and strategic advice to clients regarding foreclosure actions, bankruptcy issues, and real estate matters.
• Collaborate with internal departments and external clients to ensure efficient and compliant case management.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations governing foreclosure processes.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of changes in foreclosure laws and regulations in Delaware and surrounding jurisdictions.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Active Bar license in Delaware (or ability to obtain via reciprocity).
• Experience in foreclosure law, preferably in a law firm or financial institution setting.
• Solid understanding of state and federal foreclosure laws, real estate law, and civil litigation procedures.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and case management abilities.
• Proficient in legal research tools and case management software.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
