The Contract Attorney will provide legal support with a focus on contracts, corporate compliance, and transactional matters. This role will support internal business teams by reviewing, drafting, and negotiating a variety of agreements, advising on legal and regulatory risks, and supporting general corporate legal needs.

Draft, review, and negotiate a broad range of commercial agreements, including client and vendor contracts, NDAs, amendments, statements of work, and licensing agreements

Ensure contracts and business practices comply with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies

Assist in managing outside counsel engagements to ensure cost-effective, high-quality legal support

Provide legal guidance on issues related to intellectual property, privacy, corporate structure, and governance

Conduct legal risk assessments and provide practical recommendations to business leaders

Assist with international subsidiary operations and compliance matters

Monitor, prepare, and file regulatory submissions, license applications, and related filings

Contribute to departmental initiatives and collaborate on broader legal team goals and priorities
Requirements
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Strong experience in contract negotiation and drafting with a solid understanding of legal risk allocation

Demonstrated knowledge of corporate law, regulatory compliance, and legal best practices

High level of professional integrity, discretion, and sound judgment

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and client-service skills

Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Familiarity with intellectual property and data privacy considerations in contracts

Ability to build strong relationships and work collaboratively with diverse teams
Minimum Qualifications:

3+ years of legal experience, preferably in-house or at a global law firm

J.D. degree and active membership in at least one U.S. state bar

Experience with contract management systems is a plus

General corporate experience—including financings, strategic partnerships, and corporate governance is a plus
