Job Description: We are seeking a passionate attorney to join our team who will specialize in landlord/tenant law. If you are someone who likes to not only identify issues, but solve them, we want to hear from you! Your responsibilities will include:

• Representing clients in court on eviction matters;
• Drafting and sending notices of default to residential and commercial tenants;
• Providing comprehensive advice to landlords on all aspects of their operations;
• Reviewing and revising leases an policies to ensure compliance and clarity
• Keeping abreast of the latest Federal, State, and Local laws affecting landlords; and
• Attending industry events to network and educate landlords and property mangers.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
• Active license to practice law in Illinois (REQUIRED), licensure in Indiana a plus.
• Proven experience in landlord/tenant law
• Exceptional analytical and communication skills
• A proactive approach and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively
• Existing book of business a plus, but not required.
• Ability to speak Spanish a plus, but not required.
