Preeminent central Indiana firm seeks an attorney to join its litigation and insurance defense team. Experience in the practice areas, including deposing opposing parties and defending depositions, conducting mediations with clients, and drafting and filing motions is encouraged but not required. Responsibilities:
- Provide legal advice and guidance to clients
- Represent clients in court proceedings
- Draft and review legal documents, such as contracts and agreements
- Conduct legal research and analysis
- Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients
- Attend meetings and hearings with clients and other parties involved in the case
- Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations relevant to the practice area

Requirements:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
- Admission to the state bar
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Prior experience in the specific practice area is preferred, but not required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
