Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Attorney position located in Gaylord, MI, in an environment featuring a  collective of strong legal minds, a team-oriented atmosphere, and skilled legal assistants. The Attorney will be responsible for providing legal counsel, representing clients in primarily family law matters, preparing legal documents, conducting legal research, and negotiating on behalf of clients. This position requires attention to detail, strong analytical abilities, and a client-focused approach to ensure favorable outcomes.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree
• Valid license, in good standing, to practice law in the State of Michigan
• Expertise in law, including a strong knowledge of family law, including divorce and custody matters
• Proficiency in research and the ability to interpret legal documentation
• Strong negotiation skills and ability to advocate effectively for clients
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple cases simultaneously
• Proven experience in litigation is preferred
