Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Workers’ Compensation Attorney to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will bring 2–5 years of dedicated experience in workers’ compensation law, demonstrating strong knowledge of statutory requirements, administrative procedures, and case strategy. This role requires a proactive attorney with exceptional advocacy skills and the ability to manage a diverse caseload from inception through resolution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all phases of workers’ compensation cases, including initial case assessment, legal research, medical record evaluation, discovery, depositions, hearings, and trial preparation.
  • Provide comprehensive legal counsel to clients regarding workers’ compensation claims, employer obligations, coverage issues, and compliance with state regulations.
  • Draft, review, and refine legal documents such as pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery requests, and settlement agreements.
  • Represent clients in proceedings before judges, mediators, administrative bodies, and other relevant forums.
  • Conduct negotiations to secure favorable outcomes for clients, including settlements and dispute resolution.
  • Collaborate with paralegals, legal assistants, and other team members to ensure efficient case progression, accurate documentation, and adherence to deadlines.
  • Maintain meticulous case files and ensure compliance with internal policies, professional standards, and state bar requirements.

Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
  • Active membership and good standing withThe Florida Bar.
  • Minimum 2–5 years of proven experience practicing workers’ compensation law.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and persuasively.
  • Strong analytical abilities, attention to detail, and effective problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in negotiation, case strategy, and client advocacy.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $85,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
