Preeminent central Indiana firm seeks an attorney to join its litigation team. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience in the practice area, including deposing opposing parties and defending depositions, conducting mediations with clients, drafting and filing motions, and trying cases before Judges and juries. Responsibilities:
- Provide legal advice and guidance to clients
- Represent clients in court proceedings (including small claims)
- Draft and review legal documents, such as contracts and agreements
- Conduct legal research and analysis
- Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients
- Attend meetings and hearings with clients and other parties involved in the case
- Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations relevant to the practice area

Requirements:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
- Admission to the state bar
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Prior experience in the specific practice area is preferred, but not required
