Attorney Development Coordinator

Saxe Doernberger & Vita, P.C. is a growing national insurance coverage firm whose practice focuses exclusively on representing insurance policyholders. We are currently seeking a Attorney Development Coordinator to oversee the day-to-day operations of attorney development. This position reports to the Manager of Professional Development and works closely with the firms attorneys. This position is located in the firm's Trumbull, CT office. This is a temp position, estimated for 3-6 months. Possible extension. Possible temp to hire.

General Overview

Reporting to the Manager of Professional Development, this position is responsible for the coordination of attorney admissions and trainings required to practice law and assisting with the management of the attorney pipeline.

Responsibilities

  • Begin the day reviewing new tasks delegated by the Professional Development Manager and Coordinator.
  • Prioritize and execute administrative and project-based assignments.
  • Monitor CLE compliance and bar application statuses across jurisdictions.
  • Update and maintain attorney development records in various tech platforms.
  • Document new procedures and update existing ones for clarity and consistency.
  • Communicate with internal teams and external stakeholders regarding memberships, compliance, and development timelines.
  • Research jurisdictional rules and regulations and update internal databases accordingly.
  • Participate in team check-ins and contribute to project planning and budgeting discussions.

Education

  • Paralegal certification or legal administrative training is a plus.
