Attorney - Employment and Civil Litigation

Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Employment and Litigation Attorney to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various areas of law, including but not limited to Employment law, personal injury law, and medical Malpractice law. This role requires exceptional negotiation skills, thorough legal research capabilities, and the ability to manage complex litigation cases effectively. The Litigation Attorney will be responsible for representing clients in court, drafting legal documents, and providing sound legal advice.

Responsibilities

• Represent clients in litigation matters across various practice areas including Employment law, Medical Malpractice law, family law, personal injury law, and more.
• Conduct thorough legal research using tools such as Westlaw to support case strategies.
• Draft and file legal documents including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
• Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients while maintaining a focus on their best interests.
• Prepare for trials by organizing evidence and developing case strategies.
• Provide legal advice to clients regarding their rights and obligations under the law.
• Maintain accurate records of all case-related activities and communications.
• Collaborate with other attorneys and legal staff within the firm to ensure comprehensive representation.

Requirements

• Admission to the bar in the relevant jurisdiction - Texas.
• Strong understanding of litigation processes and procedures.
• Experience or knowledge in Employment law, Medical Malpractice law, personal injury law, or other relevant areas is preferred.
• Excellent writing skills with experience in legal drafting.
• Proficient in conducting legal research using Westlaw.
• Strong negotiation skills with a proven track record of successful outcomes.
• Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90,000.00 - $100,000.01 per year
