A well-established law firm in Asheville is seeking a full-time Associate Attorney to focus on estate planning, estate administration, and related practice areas. While prior estate planning experience is strongly preferred, the firm is willing to provide training for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
- Advise clients on estate planning and administration, including wills, trusts, and powers of attorney.
- Draft, review, and finalize estate planning documents with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Maintain strong attorney–client relationships through clear and timely communication.
- Collaborate with attorneys and professional staff to deliver high-quality, efficient service.
- Participate in networking and business development to strengthen the firm’s community presence.
Qualifications
- J.D. from an accredited law school and active North Carolina Bar license (or eligibility).
- Prior experience as a practicing attorney required.
- Background in estate planning or administration strongly preferred; training available for motivated candidates.
- Strong legal research, drafting, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple matters while maintaining professionalism and detail orientation.
Compensation & Benefits
