Attorney Estate Planning and Elder Law

Overview

We are seeking an admitted attorney to work in the fields of estate planning, elder law and estate administration. The job is based in Brooklyn but travel to the other branch offices is required. Experience helpful but not required. Intelligence and ambition valued more than experience. There will be an opportunity for exposure on conservative and Christian radio stations.

Duties

  • Assist more senior attorney in above refernced fields
  • Conduct thorough legal research using tools such as LexisNexis and Westlaw to support case preparation.
  • Draft legal documents such as wills and trusts
  • Maintain good client contact and communication.
  • Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations that may affect clients' cases or the firm’s practice areas.
  • Collaborate with other attorneys and legal staff to develop strategies for case management.
  • Assist clients with estate planning needs, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations..

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the state bar association; active license to practice law is required
  • Proven negotiation skills with a track record of successful outcomes in client representation.
  • Excellent writing skills with experience in legal drafting and documentation.
  • Familiarity with legal research tools such as LexisNexis and Westlaw is essential.
  • Prior experience in a law office setting is preferred; legal administrative experience is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $94,570.58 - $160,000.00 per year
