We are seeking a Family Law Associate who is passionate about guiding clients through life’s most challenging transitions and eager to take on meaningful courtroom responsibility early in their practice.
In this role, you will handle a diverse range of family-law matters—including divorce, paternity, custody, time-sharing, child support, alimony, and domestic violence—while developing your advocacy skills through hands-on litigation, negotiation, and client counseling. You will work closely with experienced partners who prioritize mentorship, professional growth, and collaborative case strategy.
What You’ll Do
- Provide thoughtful, strategic legal analysis and representation in a broad spectrum of family-law matters.
- Build strong client relationships and effectively communicate in emotionally charged situations.
- Draft pleadings, conduct discovery, prepare for hearings, and manage case files efficiently.
- Negotiate settlements and advocate persuasively in mediations and court hearings.
- Collaborate with partners, paralegals, and support staff to drive cases forward and deliver excellent client service.
What We’re Looking For
- 3-4 years of litigation experience (required)
- 2+ years of family-law experience (required)
- Strong oral advocacy, negotiation, and written communication skills
- A client-centered mindset and ability to remain composed under pressure
- Active member of the Florida Bar in good standing (required)
- Desire to grow within the firm and develop long-term expertise in family law
Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive salary: $90,000–$120,000, plus incentive compensation
