Attorney for small boutique law firm

Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Attorney to join our small boutique law firm, committed to providing personalized legal services with a focus on representing hospitals and nursing homes in obtaining guardianships and conservatorships throughout the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. This role offers an opportunity for growth and experience in practicing in all probate courts in Massachusetts. The ideal candidate will possess a license to practice law in Massachusetts; the ability to work well with clients, colleagues and court personnel; and the versatility to manage multiple cases efficiently. Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive legal representation for hospitals and nursing homes in obtaining guardianship and conservatorships, as well as compliance with annual reviews, estate planning and estate administration.
  • Draft clear, precise legal documents and other client-related paperwork.
  • Manage multiple cases simultaneously while maintaining meticulous records and adhering to deadlines.
  • Court appearances and representation in Probate Courts throughout the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

Skills

  • Excellent legal drafting and writing skills with attention to detail and clarity.
  • Effective negotiation abilities to resolve disputes amicably while protecting client interests.
  • Preferred prior experience in a law office setting with familiarity in legal administrative processes.
  • Exceptional organizational skills combined with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently.
  • A valid driver's license and reliable vehicle

Pay: $75,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
