The Nebraska State Patrol (NSP) is seeking an experienced attorney to join its Legal Division as an Attorney III. Key Responsibilities

• Advise agency leadership and personnel on criminal, civil, employment, and administrative matters
• Conduct legal research and draft legal documents, policies, and legislation
• Collaborate with state, federal, and local agencies
• Represent the agency in administrative hearings and authorized court proceedings
• Provide legal training to law enforcement personnel

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
• Admission to the Nebraska Bar
• Experience practicing law across multiple legal areas
• Strong legal research, writing, and drafting skills
• Proficiency with legal research tools (LexisNexis, Westlaw)
