Lexington Recovery is a specialized collections and recovery firm focused on merchant cash advance (MCA), commercial debt, and post-default enforcement. We work closely with funders, and legal partners nationwide to recover defaulted receivables through strategic negotiations, litigation, and judgment enforcement.
We are seeking an experienced Attorney to join our growing legal and recovery team.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage MCA collections matters from pre-suit through post-judgment enforcement
- Draft, file, and manage Summons & Complaints (S&C) in connection with MCA and commercial collections matters
- Prepare pleadings, motions, stipulations, and related court filings
- Oversee and coordinate service of process and jurisdictional compliance
- Coordinate and supervise outside counsel across multiple jurisdictions
- Handle UCC lien filings, amendments, continuations, and lien enforcement strategy
- Manage judgment enforcement actions, including restraining notices, levies, garnishments, turnovers, and domestications
- Lead and support settlement negotiations including payment plans and workout agreements
- Analyze merchant financials, bank statements, and cash flow to support recovery strategy
- Advise internal teams on enforcement strategy, risk mitigation, and compliance
- Maintain accurate case tracking, documentation, and reporting
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
- Active license and good standing in New York & Florida
- 3+ years of experience in commercial collections, MCA, creditor’s rights, or civil litigation
- Hands-on experience drafting and filing Summons & Complaints
- Strong understanding of UCC Article 9, commercial lending, and judgment enforcement
- Experience negotiating settlements and workout agreements
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, results-driven environment
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and business-minded

Pay: $100,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
